in the
film
festival
route.

STORY
CONCEPT:
1ST
DRAFT
A
mystery
thriller
about a
mostly
incoherent
homeless
man
found
face
down in
the
gutter,
who
writes a
sonata
that
changes
the
world of
music
forever.
Every
one is
mystified
as to
how an
unknown
homeless
man can
play
like the
greatest
pianist
in the
world.
Soon the
people
begin to
understand
the
mysterious
power of
this
strange
man.
When the
homeless
man
plays
music,
his own
sonata,
the
third
and
hardest
concerto
in the
world by
Rachmaninov,
the
immediate
world
disappears
and he
is
transported
to
another
realm.
Sometimes
it is a
reverie
if what
could
be, or
even
stranger,
of the
premonitions
of what
a
possible
twin
brother
does in
his
spare
time:
murder.
This
story
includes
an
honest
love
romance
with the
homeless
man and
a young
girl
(victim
of
murder
attempt)
and is
accepted
in the
piano
masters
program
at
Juilliard.
He
ultimately
is lucid
enough
and the
people
understand
and
believe
that God
protected,
and
guided
the
homeless
man even
in the
darkest
of times
at the
Pulitzer
award
ceremony.
